We decided to have a trip to Oversley Woods today in Warwickshire today, it had been a hard sad couple of days for us with losing Dave's Dog Max,the most amazing dog I have known and was so brave and strong his at peace now but we miss him so much will never be the same without him but we have wonderful memories which will last forever, love you Max :)
We thought a few hours out would do us good, we hadn't been there long when we saw a Purple Emperor he was very settled on some dog poo lmao what an interesting poo lol Such a stunning butterfly and couldn't believe how big they are got a few photos we then went for a walk round and got White Admiral another beautiful butterfly they were more flighty but he did settle for awhile so got a few photos but didn't manage to get one of the underwing but I saw the underwing so pretty
it's like a different butterfly looking at the underwing. :)
Also an added bonus Purple Hairstreaks only managed to see it briefly high up still nice to see :)
