We Headed to Glapthorn Cow Pastures in Northants today for the Black Hairstreaks, we walked round for a while not finding any, but then a kind man pointed out where to go and said there was more Black Hairstreaks than people, I was liking the sound off that :)
He was right soon located one amazing beautiful butterflies, we also bumped into Daves friends Tracey and Steve was lovely seeing them.
Got some nice photos of the Black Hairstreak with the added bonus of a Red-tipped Clearwing that Dave found that was my highlight of the day, stunning Moths :) Also had lot's of Hoverflies and some new Insects, had been a very enjoyable day :)
