Draycote - Common Scoter

Nice day out at Draycote water to see the common Scoter it was showing very well, was a very cold and windy day though, my photos have not come out good, but so happy I got to see it, and such close views.

We then popped to another pond / pool nearby where there was lots of common gull most I have seen in one go :) We also went to Astley castle beautiful castle with a moat around it then we went focus optics where there was a male pheasant outside.

Ladywalk - Water rail, Reed bunting

Great morning at Laywalk highlight being the Water Rail really good views from the hide struggled for a photo as he kept showing but then disappearing but great to see him and is my first Water Rail.
Also so had clear views of the Reed buntings on the feeders lovely birds :) Also bullfinches on the feeders always a pleasure to see a Bullfinch may be common but so beautiful.
Was great to see a female pheasant from the hide and near by the closest views I have ever had.
Just outside Ladywalk on the telephone pylon was a peregrine falcon one of my fav birds of prey.
