Bar-tailed Godwit and Whooper Swan - Marsh Lane

News coming through of Bar-tailed Godwits at Marsh Lane nature reserve we headed over there getting nice views but very distant on the islands but still lovely to see and another year tick :)
Also there had been a Whooper Swan which Dave had already seen and I got to see him today beautiful swan so elegant :) Also nice views of Gadwall, Lapwings and Common Redshank.

With us having are first Black Tern of the year yesterday at Farmoor res, Oxon but only getting distant views today we had quite a few at Shustoke getting better views and then news coming through of one at Seeswood Pool which was the record since 2008 which is amazing we headed over there it gave nice views hard to photograph as it was in flight but beautiful birds could see all the detail and so nice to watch one on Dave's local patch :)
